Drop
Full title - To Drop - After Joseph Beuys and You.
Drop was a room sized installation composed of a twin bed that included a flash rusted head and foot board, squared off bed clothes over a mattress and a gray wool military issue blanket, surrounded by a great deal (45 cubic feet) of dried pine needles.
Drop was designed to be an experience in which the audience would both see the bed and needles but also stand upon needles and become aware of the scent and the silencing that the insualation that these needled provided.
